World Clubfoot Day 2026: See Early. Treat Early. Run Free

World Clubfoot Day 2026 reminds us that every child’s journey to a healthy and active future begins with a single step: early detection. This year’s theme, “See Early. Treat Early. RunFree.”, celebrates the power of timely identification, referral and treatment in transforming the lives of children born with clubfoot.
Over the years, remarkable progress has been made around the world. Hundreds of thousands of children have accessed life-changing treatment through the Ponseti Method, enabling them to walk, run, play, attend school and participate fully in their communities. In Kenya, increased awareness, stronger referral systems and expanded access to treatment have given more families hope than ever before. What was once a source of fear and uncertainty for many parents is now a condition that can be effectively treated when identified early.
Behind every success story is a team of dedicated people working together – from the healthcare worker who first notices the condition at birth, to the trained provider delivering treatment and the caregiver who supports the child throughout the journey. Their combined efforts ensure that children receive the care they need and the opportunity to reach their full potential.
As we mark World Clubfoot Day 2026, we celebrate the children whose lives have been transformed, the families who have remained committed to treatment and the healthcare workers whose dedication continues to change futures every day. Together, we are building a world where every child born with clubfoot is seen early, treated early and given the chance to run free.
