Clubfoot Relapse Case

Meet Baby Newton.
At just 1 year and 7 months, he begins his clubfoot journey. However, his treatment started in Mutomo, Kitui but unfortunately, it was mismanaged. He’s now receiving proper care at our Machakos clinic.

Newton’s story reminds us why we insist on EARLY and ACCURATE treatment. Clubfoot treatment takes around five years. When started at birth, most children are done by the time they begin school. But when treatment begins late, it often overlaps with critical milestones like learning, play and school attendance.

Wearing braces for most hours of the day or attending class while in casts can be tough on a young child. That’s our biggest worry. We want children to be ready for school – free, confident and walking strong.

That’s why we push for early detection. Because the earlier we start, the sooner they can simply be kids.

Let’s give every child the chance to walk, run and learn without limitations.
